1936 ROYAL ENFIELD CYCAR! SPEED SCOTT! Amazing Original Bike!~ Being Sold With NY BILL OF SALE! 1 Owner Since New! We have NOT Cleaned This Bike As you see it is how the owner kept it in his garage until he passed away. We have NOT started the bike. It turns over smooth. This is the info we were given from Graham Scarth (UK Royal Enfield Owners Club chairman) … "Brittania is the manufacturer of the tyre inflator hand pump. Their name is on the handle and Royal Enfield on the body, so obviously produced exclusively for RE. There are approximately 1500 of these machines built between 1931-36 recorded in the factory ledgers "..... " This machine is a Royal Enfield Model Z “Cycar”. It is fitted with a 148cc two stroke engine of Enfield’s own manufacture. The hand change gearbox is 3 speed – 5 speed gearboxes being unheard of on machine this old!! It is almost totally original, but is missing the legshields that should be fastened to the flanges at the front of the engine covers. The Speed Scott transfers have been added, as has the Villiers emblem on the headlight I believe.
